Dispatching Solutions releases electronic data management (EDM) solution, Documinder

August 6, 2012

In the fourth quarter of 2012, Dispatching Solutions inc (DSi) releases an electronic data management solution (EDM) that can be used as a standalone product or integrated with DSi Transport Manager. This application allows users to scan in and convert paper documents into electronic data. Features include barcode recognition, OCR reading, indexing and search capabilities.

“For a majority of our customers, paper documents are still part of their work flow processes. A system like Documinder helps get the data from the paper into databases where it can be more easily manipulated and used in day to day operations.  This helps ease customers into a completely paperless environment,” says Jim Jackson, CEO Dispatching Solutions, inc.

When used in conjunction with DSi Transport Manager, users now can progress into a fully paperless environment where data entry errors and costly paperwork time is reduced. Outputting electronic data from a database onto paper is simple; users can easily print out invoices and reports from Transport Manager. Now with Documinder, doing the reverse is just as simple. Users scan documents and data from the physical document is written into the database.
