In DSi Service Manager®, work orders are designed to keep information well-organized in searchable fields. Over a dozen tabs are available for filing data related to labor, costs, parts, machine details, related expenses and more, but none are required.
Companies using DSi Service Manager® are free to adopt as little or as much of the system as needed. We recommend utilizing all features you have information for to provide better data for reports and analytics.
Work orders are broken down into labor segments, and these segments are further broken down into labor entries. At each step in the process, the dispatcher or the technician assigned can clock hours, set statuses and shift codes, and also add notes.
